Painswick - Cotswold Stone

Painswick Stone is a beautiful limestone with prominent grain, quarried primarily in Gloucestershire, better known as Cotswold Stone.

It has been used throughout this area from large estate houses, town halls, and market squares to listed buildings and cottages in more rural areas.

Some prolific buildings made of Cotswold Stone is Sudeley Castle, Broadway Tower and Blenheim Palace.
